Mount Barker VFRS were today turned out to a reported truck rollover north of Mount Barker. The call came through just before 9am and were mobile soon after that. The crash occured approximately 50km south of Kojonup, 55km north of Mount Barker. The truck was a semi-trailer carrying a load of LPG. With support from Kojonup VFRS and Albany Career FRS the scene was made safe. Excellent support from the various Police crews, Cranbrook SJA, Mount Barker SES and a number of other agencies helped make the incident run smoothly. The cylinder is being decanted and Albany Highway should be re-opened to traffic late Tuesday morning. (Special thanks to Cranbrook CWA and The Bretzel for the excellent food!)
